Clyde heißt eigentlich ganz anders und als er Bonnie, die tatsächlich so heißt, zum ersten Mal sieht, ist es, als würde die Welt kurz stehen bleiben. Von diesem Moment an sind die beiden unzertrennlich. Sie sind jung. Sie sind verliebt. Sie sind unbesiegbar. Den Frust über mangelnde Perspektiven und beschissene Familienverhältnisse verwandeln sie in unbändige Lebensenergie samt Banküberfällen als Mittel gegen soziale Ungerechtigkeit.
Ausgehend von dem legendären Gangsterpaar erzählt dieses Theater-B-Movie von zwei jungen Underdogs der Gegenwart, die das Leben selbst in die Hand nehmen und vor dem gefährlichen Spiel mit dem Feuer nicht zurückschrecken. Ein wilder Theaterritt, der mit schnellen Schnitten zwischen filmischer Fantasie und rauer Realität wechselt.

Clyde's name is actually quite different and when he sees Bonnie, who is actually called that, for the first time, it's as if the world stops for a moment. From that moment on, the two are inseparable. They are young. They are in love. They are invincible. They transform their frustration over a lack of prospects and shitty family circumstances into irrepressible energy for life, including bank robberies as a means of combating social injustice.Based on the legendary gangster couple, this theater B-movie tells the story of two young underdogs of the present day who take life into their own hands and do not shy away from a dangerous game with fire. A wild theatrical ride that alternates between cinematic fantasy and harsh reality with quick cuts.
