Während mancherorts „All Cops are Bastards!“ skandiert wird, ist eine Welt ohne Polizei für viele kaum vorstellbar. Doch immer wieder steht die Polizei scharf in der Kritik. Die einen fordern die Abschaffung des Gewaltmonopols und der problematischen Strukturen. Andere sagen, wo kämen wir da hin: Die Polizei ist Garant für Recht und Ordnung. Um diesem Paradox auf den Grund zu gehen, widmet sich das Team um Charlotte Lorenz und Jakob D’Aprile am Set eines Krimidrehs der Wiege der Staatsgewalt: der Polizeiausbildung. Hier wird die Polizeirolle eingeübt. Könnte Veränderung hier beginnen?

While in some places people chant "All Cops are Bastards!", for many it is hard to imagine a world without police. But time and again, the police are sharply criticized. Some call for the abolition of the monopoly on violence and problematic structures. Others say, where would we get there: The police are the guarantors of law and order. To get to the bottom of this paradox, the team led by Charlotte Lorenz and Jakob D'Aprile devotes itself to the cradle of state power on the set of a crime film: police training. This is where the police role is practiced. Could change begin here?
